Terry Webster

With a show biz career spanning 45 years Terry Webster has actually performed in shows featuring many of the legends of Rock n Roll and show business that he now impersonates.

LITTLE RICHARD, SAM COOKE, DEL SHANNON, GENE VINCENT, CLIFF RICHARD AND THE SHADOWS, THE STONES, BEATLES, EMILE FORD AND THE CHECKMATES to name but a few during the very early 60s.

After winning VOCAL GROUP OF THE YEAR with his sister PATTI BROOK AND THE DIAMONDS in 1960. They recorded singles with PYE RECORDS and toured with stars of the age nationwide.

Terry became bass player with number one hit makers of 'DIAMONDS' and 'SCARLET O HARA' JET HARRIS AND TONY MEEHAN after Jet's exit from the SHADOWS in 1962. Having caught the eye of top producer JACK GOOD a solo recording contract followed with EMI COLUMBIA in 1964 leading to singles and TV under the name of TONY BROOK.

Turning to comedy impressions in the late 60's he became THE ROCKIN BERRIES new frontman also doubling as guitarist/bass player, and vocalist. Many recordings, TV, and Radio appearances followed, also a nationwide tour with SACHA DISTEL, OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN AND STEFFAN GRAPPELI and seasons at the LONDON PALLADIUM with TOM JONES and later FRANKIE VAUGHEN. After a ten year break to persue solo ventures Terry rejoined the band in 1986.

Tribute to Buddy Holly...

In the early 90s Terry's experience, vocal versatility, musical and recording talents were spotted by JIVE BUNNY creators John and Andrew Pickles of Music Factory Rotherham Yorkshire resulting in many vocal sessions and also complete soundalike productions from Terry's home studio 'Dead Ringer' productions. Terry arranged performed and produced many album tracks almost single handedly including the top selling Jive Bunny Christmas Party album. Even the girl vocals. Terry's version of 'Brenda Lee's 'Rockin Around The Christmas Tree' was used in the Will Smith movie Enemy of The State and his ficticous black American girl group rendering of 'Ding Dong Merrily' was used in the British film 'Fanny and Elvis'.

Having parted company with Music Factory Rotherham and thanks to the guidance of Mark Smith of Saint Productions and Bless Records, Terry now produces his own covers albums under the product name Rock a Doodle Doo. His 50s and 60s classics album 'THAT'LL BE THE DAY' has sold 40,000 copies along with'70s DISCO DANCE PARTY' during a five year licence with PRISM LEISURE. A new 5 year agreement has been secured for the UK and Europe with H&H Music. Our thanks to H&H boss Steve Brink.

Terry's vocals are featured in 'Sunshine' (A Love like That) track 3 of Simon Webbe's latest album 'Grace'.

Having recently returned to performing live and fuelled by the energy of the great pop classics of the age, his hilarious new solo act is wowing audiences wherever he goes and demonstrates versatility beyond anyone's imagination. An awesome evening of fun entertainment.
