The Funtime Frankies

The Funtime Frankies have a firm reputation as one of the best party bands in the UK since they began performing in May 2005.

Consistently packing dance floors at every event they play, this live 4-piece will provide an unforgettable show for your guests. There are no gimmicks, no backing tracks, just pure live energy from four suited & booted guys who are all highly talented musicians and experienced performers.

Aside from their onstage skills, they pride themselves on their professionalism and will do their best to make sure that all will run smoothly from the time of booking through to the event itself.

They perform chart music from the 50's to the present

They have a full 5kW PA (Logic System 1296 rig), full lighting rig with motorised units and effects and smoke machine, meaning that they can cater for most functions and venues. However if extra equipment is needed this can be organised.

For smaller venues where sound limitation is an issue, they also have the use of electric drums, so the volume can be kept as low as is needed.

This stunning “live” Soul ‘n’ Motown show takes you on a trip through the golden years of the music that’s made our feet tap and our hearts move for generations.

Fronted by Mr. John Walton also known as “JW”, a performer that in his own right has won an accolade of awards for vocal performances over the years in various shows up and down the country.

Backed by one of the best live bands in the industry featuring Mr. Hugh Shannon on Bass and additional lead vocals, Mr. Kevin Brown on the lead guitar and Mr. Micky “Boy” Lewis on the Drums. Both Hugh & Kevin also help provide excellent three part harmonies creating a truly amazing reproduction of the magic of the Soul ‘n’ Motown era performed with the quality and enthusiasm that it deserves.

The Limit

The Limit are an exciting 4 piece 70’s to current charts party band. This award winning band feature one of the most charismatic frontmen in the business as well as some of the UK’s finest musicians and entertainers. The band won ‘Starsearch 97′ in London against 200 competitors.

The Limit have supported stars like The Real Thing, 911, The Foundations, Bradley Walsh, Journey South, Cannon & Ball, Joe Longthorne, So Solid Crew and Atomic Kitten.

The were nominated for the prestigious ‘Entertainer of The Year’ award 2 years in a row against celebrities like Peter Kay, Joe Longthorne and Chubby Brown. This happened because of their outstanding Summer season performances at Blackpool Tower.

The band comes complete with costumes changes, a top of the range 10K sound system and state of the art intelligent lighting. The show also features live drums, keyboards and guitars.

Clients include:- Blackpool Tower, Haven Holidays, Butlins, Chicago Rock Cafe’s, Embassy Theatre, Jumpin Jaks, P&O Ferries, British Holidays, Park Resorts & The Winter Gardens Blackpool.

The Cavernites

The Cavernites are a Four piece band in the classic Sixties style, from Liverpool, who perform a Sixties tribute show that recreates the vibrant sounds and atmosphere of the Swinging Sixties.

Britain in 1962, and especially Liverpool, was a place where the Rock n’ Roll of the fifties had been fused with American R’n’B by the local beat groups, to create a raw, high-energy brand of music which was honed in sweaty pubs and clubs, such as The Cavern Club in Liverpool, and The Kaiserkeller, Indra and Star clubs in Hamburg.

The Cavernites re-create those days and the birth of what became known as Mersey Beat or The Liverpool or Mersey Sound a musical style that took the UK by storm, influencing countless groups across the country.

The Cavernites recreate this era performing classic hits from groups like The Beatles, The Searchers, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Mersey’s, The Hollies, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who and many other hit groups from the Sixties.

The Cavernites bring The Sixties back to life, taking the audience on a Magical Musical History Tour, through One of the greatest musical decades of all time, it's a fast and vibrant show, designed to get everyone dancing along.

The Cavernites are a recreation of a Live Sixties group during the Beatlemania years as seen on shows like 'Ready Steady Go’ and ’Top of the Pops' as you can get, transporting the audience right back to the Sixties, they perform with the same vibrancy, passion and fun of the original bands, a totally authentic sound and look.

Using original instruments from the period, names like Rickenbacker, Epiphone, Gibson, and the famous Hofner Violin Beatle Bass, together with a Black Ludwig drum kit, they also use original amplifiers from the period names such as Marshal and Vox. The Sixties look is completed by the use of original stage clothes including the classic Sixties style Black thin lapelled suits, narrow leg trousers, White button down collared shirts, thin ties and the famous Cuban heeled Black Beatle boots.

Cavern have performed their unique show all over the UK and abroad, in 2008 for Liverpool’s capitol of culture year they were asked to perform an outdoor show on a floating stage at Liverpool’s Albert Dock to over 30,000 Beatles fans on the August bank holiday Monday.

The Cavernites have been booked to appear at this years 2010 Beatles festival in Liverpool to perform at the legendary Cavern club on the August bank holiday weekend, they will be doing Five performances over the weekend on the famous Cavern wall stage and also in the larger back room McCartney stage, the very same one that Paul McCartney performed on, on his return to the Cavern in 1999.

The Cavernites are available for any type of function, from corporate entertainment to private parties, hotels, holiday centres, outdoor festivals, social clubs, and theatres.

The Cavernites are a fully professional group whose members have a wide range of experience performing in the tribute band world, Three members have been former members of top Beatles tribute bands portraying John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, because of this pedigree the boys perform a show that is the best of both worlds as well as having that Beatle look and sound and using authentic Beatles instruments, the audience also gets classic hits from many other great acts of the Sixties, all performed with the original passion and vibrancy of the original groups, performed totally live, The Cavernite's show is more than just a tribute, it's like being back to the Sixties once again!.

JOE PUBLIC are a Six piece party and event band playing a wide range of classic hits from across several decades - from Tom Jones to James Brown, The Monkees to The Mavericks and just about everything in between. Their performance will include some of the finest rock, pop, soul and swing classics around and take you on a musical journey from Frank Sinatra to the Kaiser Chiefs!

The band is Yorkshire based but plays (subject to fee) throughout the UK.

Joe Public has a first class reputation and has worked for a wide range of clients at many hundreds of venues across the country. Some of these clients and events include The BBC; ITV; the Manchester Commonwealth Games; the Labour Party Conference; the infamous 'Oblenski Ball' in London's Covent Garden (twice); the Soap Stars 'Pink Ball'; the famous 'Sheep Shed Shuffle'; Soap Stars tour with Richard Fleeshman; many corporate functions; weddings and specialist events which have included parties for Rod Stewart and other celebrities. The band was included in the April 2003 edition of 'Hello' Magazine where they played at the feature cover wedding for Trisha Penrose (Heartbeat and The Royal) and Mark Simpkins (SKY). The band went on to appear in a feature episode of Heartbeat on Yorkshire Television. As well as becoming the BBC's Rugby Six Nations tour band, Joe Public has also worked and performed with the likes of John Miles, Tom O'Connor, the Black Abbotts and Stan Boardman to name but a few. The band has now performed almost a thousand concerts both big and small. Whether you have 80 guests or 800, small or large budget, Joe Public will provide a superb night's entertainment.
